Library

Sir Isaac Newton College of Engineering and Technology has an excellent library for the benefit of Students, Faculties and Researchers. 

 It is one of the best established libraries and has a large collection of books covering various branches of Engineering sciences and Technology as well as Science and Humanities and its related fields. In addition to that, 5 departmental libraries are available which collectively support the teaching and research activities of the Institution.

The College Library was started in 2010, and has been functioning in the Main Block of the college. It spreads over 1800 sq. m. 

The library is equipped with Reference section, Audio -Visual Section, Journal Section, Newspaper and Magazine Section, and Reprography Section. It can accommodate 250 students. It has numerous specialized collections of Books and Journals.

With a catalogue of over 11,589 volumes and an online journal database with a link to IEEE, the library offers knowledgeable resources to aid students’ quest for knowledge. The library stocks 229 National and International Journals and Magazines to keep students abreast of the latest findings and researches. The resources are constantly being expanded and added every year. To enrich students’ ability, the library offers institutional membership in DELNET (Developing Library Network, New Delhi).

The library also offers web courses in various disciplines, which can be accessed throughout the campus via intranet.

As for the right surroundings for serious study, the library has been designed with contemplative space. The library opens between 9.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m..The library’s elongated working hours make it easy for students to fit in library.
