The trust has started various educational institutions around Nagapattinam District, offering holistic education in an underdeveloped rural region of Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu. The Trust members include leading Industrialists and Educationists guiding the institution in a quality way to achieve the desired vision and mission of the institution.

Sir Issac Newton College of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 2010 to promote the cause of higher education to needy people. The institution has started with 5 UG programs such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering with 60 intakes. Facilities were gradually planned to introduce 3 UG programs such Agriculture Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Engineering programs and Information Technology introduced in the year 2019-2020 and 2022-2023 respectively with the surrendering of civil and electrical and electronics Engineering. The 4 PG Programs in power systems, applied electronics, Manufacturing engineering, and computer science and engineering were started in the year 2010. Ph.D. Programs were introduced in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2017 onwards. It is located near the National Highway in a sprawling campus of more than 11 acres. The College is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The institution was recognized by IAF-ISO 9001-2015 certification in the year 2022. The institution has recognized with 2(f) under UGC act, 1956. The management extends its fabulous support in designing the institution with modern teaching facilities and modern architecture buildings, giving a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere. The eco-friendly ambiance creates a healthy learning atmosphere. The infrastructure includes a state of art computer laboratory with servers and internet facilities and multi-disciplinary workstations that provide hands-on experience to our engineering students. Well-experienced, qualified efficient dynamic staff members, and a good number of Doctorates in various discipline mould the students diligently in ethical, moral, and academic aspects. Counseling and parental care are the strength of our institution to train and connect managerial intelligence, knowledge integration, and respect for human national values with uncompromised discipline.
Excellent library and the digital library is an essence of knowledge to absorb the reading habit with a vast collection of technical Books, National & International Journals, Magazines, Reference books, Newspapers, encyclopedias, and course materials. E-learning through NPTEL Video courses by NIT and IIT Professors is available. Training and Placement Cell works pedantically to inculcate life skills and employability by unleashing the hidden potentials of the students to confront global challenges.
The Research activities provide a unique technical approach to strengthen their students in the field of specified research. The staff and students are encouraged to share their technical knowledge and their social commitments in the form of societal events through various outreach activities. Various Club activities are conducted continuously to encourage, motivate and inspire students from diverse cultures to harness their talent through their perseverance. Playgrounds, Indoor games, and Gym and yoga facilities found successful champions in the field of sports. The excellent Hostel provides a comfortable stay with all amenities. Through various national and international Industry-Institute MoUs, updated technical information and training are given to the students to cope with realistic industrial expectations. The student’s real-time projects created a social value in the engineering market with valuable guidance in the campus.
