Roles
The Placement and Training Cell plays a vital role in bridging the gap between students and potential employers by providing guidance, training, and opportunities for career advancement. Its primary goal is to enhance students’ employability by organizing career development activities, such as training programs, workshops, and internships, and facilitating job placements through campus recruitment drives.
The Placement and Training Cell collaborates with industry partners to understand current market demands and trends, ensuring that students are equipped with the skills required in the workforce. It is also responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with companies, alumni, and recruitment agencies to secure placement opportunities for students.
In addition to placement services, the cell provides students with soft skills training, interview preparation, resume-building workshops, and industry-specific coaching to ensure they are ready for job interviews. Conducting mock interviews and aptitude tests, the cell helps students assess their strengths and areas for improvement.
Responsibilities
The cell works closely with various industries, businesses, and organizations to build partnerships that can lead to recruitment opportunities. This includes inviting companies to participate in campus recruitment drives and securing internships or project opportunities for students.
