Roles and Responsibilities
The Chief Vigilance Officer shall be responsible for:
  • 1.) Developing and enforcing vigilance strategies to deter corruption, malpractice, and unethical practices within the institution.
  • 2.) Carrying out periodic internal reviews and inquiries to detect potential vulnerabilities and suggest corrective actions.
  • 3.) Ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards across administrative, academic, and financial operations.
  • 4.) Fostering a culture of openness, responsibility, and ethical conduct among students, faculty, and staff.
  • 5.) Handling complaints related to misconduct, fraud, or breaches of institutional rules.
  • 6.) Liaising with statutory and legal bodies on matters pertaining to vigilance, in line with regulatory mandates.
  • 7.) Conducting educational programs and workshops focused on ethics, governance, and vigilance protocols.
  • 8.) Preparing and presenting regular vigilance updates and proposals to the management for ongoing enhancement.
