As part of our Placement Training initiatives, the Training and Placement Cell successfully
conducted a Mock Group Discussion (GD) session on 22nd August 2025
to prepare students for upcoming campus recruitment drives.

Mock Aptitude Test & Technical Coding Practice for Higher-Package Placements
On 23rd August 2025, the Training & Placement Cell organized a Mock Aptitude Test
followed by Technical Coding Practice sessions, aimed at preparing students for
higher-package campus placements.

Student Innovations in Mobile App Development
On 25th August 2025, students from the CSE and ECE departments demonstrated their
creativity and technical excellence by developing impactful mobile applications
addressing real-world needs as part of the Placement Training initiatives.

One-Day External Seminar on Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
On 26th August 2025, the Training and Placement Cell of
Sir Issac Newton College of Engineering and Technology successfully organized
a one-day external seminar on Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
Our distinguished Chief Guest, Dr. S. Venugopal
(Former Director, NIT Nagaland & Scientist, IGCAR, Department of Atomic Energy),
delivered an insightful and thought-provoking session on emerging career opportunities in:
- 3D Printing
- Hydrogen Fuel Storage & Production
- High-Energy Batteries
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) with specialized courses

developed and showcased a series of innovative mobile applications
addressing various institutional needs.

On 26th August 2025, Dr. Bharanikumar, Head – Skill and Innovative Practice,
Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam,
delivered an insightful seminar on the importance of skill training
for engineering students.

Mock Technical Interview Phase-I Conducted in Virtual Mode
On 30th August 2025, as part of the Placement Training initiatives,
SINCET organized a Mock Technical Interview Phase-I in virtual mode
with an industry professional, giving students an excellent opportunity
to experience real-world interview scenarios.

10 students from Mechanical and ECE departments of Sir Issac Newton College of Engineering and Technology, Nagapattinam have been successfully placed in core engineering roles at Caterpillar, Chennai through an off-campus drive held on May 16, 2025. Each student secured a salary package of ₹3.5 LPA.
There will be a on campus placement drive conducted by Venkateshwara Hatcheries (Hosur) for the position of Supervisor - Poultry Farming.

4 Days Placement Technical Training for 3rd Year Students by AS Solution, Chennai Trainers from 24.03.2025 to 27.03.2025. Venue: Department Seminar Hall & Respective Department Computer Center.
A 4-day Soft Skills Placement Training is scheduled for all II-year students from 17.03.2025 to 20.03.2025. The training will be conducted by expert trainers from Skill Tech, Chennai. - Venue: Respective Department Seminar Hall.
