Terms of Reference & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and prevent incidents of ragging within college premises, hostels, and transport.
  • Create awareness regarding legal provisions and consequences of ragging.
  • Promptly respond to complaints and take disciplinary action against perpetrators.
  • Organize orientation programs and awareness campaigns for a ragging-free campus.
  • Collaborate with local police and authorities to address incidents effectively.
  • Ensure confidentiality and protection of victims reporting incidents.
  • Regular patrolling of college premises to prevent and detect ragging.
  • Visible presence in prone areas like canteens, hostels, and common areas.
  • Liaise with law enforcement in case of serious ragging incidents.
  • Coordinate between the Committee and Squad for seamless implementation.
