Instructions to Students

  •  Refuse any demands that make you feel uncomfortable or unsafe. Remember, ragging is a form of abuse, and you have every right to decline participation.
  •  Strive to maintain composure and avoid reacting emotionally, as emotional reactions can potentially exacerbate the situation.
  •  If you feel secure, consider discussing with your seniors to articulate how their actions are affecting you. Oftentimes, seniors may be unaware that their behaviour constitutes ragging or causes harm.
  •  In instances where you feel unsafe or dialogue with seniors proves unfruitful, promptly report the incident to the Anti-Ragging Committee (ARC). The ARC is dedicated to safeguarding students from ragging and will take appropriate measures against those responsible.
