Project Expo on 29 September 2025

The Project Expo 2025 was held with great enthusiasm on 29 September 2025 at the Sir Issac Newton College of Engineering and Technology (SINCET) auditorium, creating a vibrant platform for students to present their creative engineering solutions. The event was jointly organized by the Research and Development Cell and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and was meticulously coordinated by Dr. Kavitha, Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Head of the Engineering & Development (R&D) Cell. Her leadership and careful planning ensured the seamless execution of the expo, from participant registration to final evaluations.

The inaugural ceremony commenced at 10:00 AM, graced by distinguished dignitaries including Dr. K. Elangovan, Registrar of Sir Issac Newton Educational Institute; Dr. A. Kumaravadivel, Principal; Dr. B. Silambarasan, IQAC Coordinator; Dr. T. Arunkumar, Placement Director; and all department heads. They collectively inaugurated the exhibition and addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of research-driven learning and practical innovation in shaping the next generation of engineers.

A key highlight of Project Expo 2025 was the diverse range of project themes that demonstrated students’ ability to merge theory with real-world problem solving. Exhibits featured:

  • Internet of Things (IoT) applications, offering smart automation and environmental monitoring solutions.
  • Modern mobile application development, presenting user-friendly, scalable apps tailored to industry and societal needs.
  • Advanced website development projects, integrating responsive design, dynamic data handling, and secure architectures.
  • Special-purpose machine prototypes, designed to enhance industrial efficiency and community services.

The evaluation of these innovative projects was entrusted to a distinguished jury panel consisting of Dr. B. Arunkumar, HoD of Science & Humanities (Physics); Mr. P. Malaiselvaraja, Vice Principal & HoD of Mechanical Engineering; and Mr. P. Arivazhagan, Assistant Professor of ECE. The panel engaged with the student teams, posed probing technical questions, and offered valuable feedback aimed at refining their designs and presentations. They commended the participants for their originality, technical rigor, and the practical relevance of their solutions.

The Project Expo 2025 drew enthusiastic participation from students across all departments and attracted faculty members, industry visitors, and peers eager to witness the latest innovations. The event not only celebrated technical creativity but also fostered interdisciplinary collaboration, communication skills, and industry readiness among students. With Dr. Kavitha’s exemplary coordination and the active involvement of faculty and jurors, the expo stood out as a testament to SINCET’s commitment to nurturing innovation and preparing students to meet the evolving challenges of the engineering world.
